Here at ReviewRoom, we are working hard to bring you new features on a weekly basis. Over the past few weeks we’ve been working on a few new additions to our Reviewer interface:
1) Custom Fields: Now, when you import Reviewers into the system, you can also import custom fields such as city, state, job-title, address or any other fields that you feel will be necessary. The process is really simple… all you have to do is add columns to the spreadsheet that you are using for the import. If you want to import “city”, then you should also have a column in your spreadsheet called City in addition to the other standard columns required for the import process.
The great thing here is that these custom fields are also now shown in the “assignment interface” so you can see the Reviewer Names in addition to any custom fields while going through the assignment process.
2) New Reviewer Teams Interface: You can now more quickly assign reviewers to teams. Not only can you have different Reviewer Groups but you can also have different Reviewer Teams in every Reviewer Group. We built a brand new interface around teams so you can very quickly Add teams in bulk and assign members to that team. You can also determine who the team leader is right within that same interface.
3) See Team Members: We’ve also made some modifications to the system to allow Reviewers to see who the other members in their team are and who the team leader is. Team members can also click on an email link right within their home page to send an email to any of the other reviewers who are on that team.
4) Random Assignments: Sometimes you’ll have a large group of applicants and a large group of reviewers and rather than setting up the assignments one by one, you can now use our random distribution tools to ensure that applicants are evenly distributed amongst reviewers. Once you’ve set this up, you can then make further modifications if required to take into consideration specific needs/availability of certain reviewers. Our random assignments functionality will help give you a big head start in the process.
5) Speed up and pagination of Reviewer Assignment Interface: We’ve made some modifications that make the assigning of applicants to reviewers a lot faster. Along the same topic, you’ll also notice that when you have a large number of Reviewers/applicants that the assignment interface will be paginated for better organization.
